Ordered an 0801BLK from Amazon Prime. When I opened the shipping carton and examined the rather abused black and blue ZT box I did a double-take... 00001 on the barcode label. Opened the box to ensure I wasn't being played, and sure enough it's my first number one ZT.

I'm probably more excited about it than I should be. Kind of made my day. Anyway, this last knife completes my 0801 production model collection. Just though I'd share. Thanks for looking!

SCORE!

Never been lucky enough to get a #1 yet. I would definitely put that one away and buy another to use.

Congratulations!!!!

Wow! Great Find! I was happy to get #3 for a Boker Plus Orange Nano Limited Edition but yours is 10x's better!

Very cool! I don't think I'd be able to use that one. Better get another one! (Watch you wind up with #2, then order another and get #3...) <--if that happens you should run and buy a lotto ticket.

I don't usually care about that stuff, but it is actually kind of cool.

That's pretty damn awesome, man! Very nice score!

The knife gods were smiling upon you this day...

That's a nice one, congrats. Somebody's gotta get the #1! Never seen a picture of anything with #1 serial number, so thought I'd check it out - looks pretty damn cool.

That is very cool. I would still use it like any other knife though. Life's too short for safe queens.

I would offer that one on our Exchange, and sell it to a serious collector, then buy another and pocket the difference. Just don't USE that one, sir.

Nice! That may very well be the first serial number 1 I've seen in the wild. Now go buy a lotto ticket. Quick!

Exactly this.

The only two serials that i think most collectors (in general) care about are #1, and the very last one. That is really cool, and either a collector or seller for sure. Like others, i have never actually seen a #1 in the wild, so it is really cool to see.
Congrats!
