What are the Most Rare CRK's?

  • South African made Titanium Handled Folder (forerunner to the Sebenza) check
  • H Sebenzas check
  • Numbered P Sebenzas (particularly rare with UG) check
  • Numbered Mnandis check
  • Numbered Regular Sebenzas (particularly rare with UG) check
There are more, but I'm starting to hyperventilate . . .

Don't have the UG versions but still a happy guy...

I've been informed that there are two left handed H Sebenzas -- H41 and H85. Wealth of knowledge, our friend from Shanghai!

Of course, all of the custom pieces are rare, by definition. Some of the rare prototypes or production pieces that come to mind for me are:

  • South African made Titanium Handled Folder (forerunner to the Sebenza) check
  • H Sebenzas check
  • Numbered P Sebenzas (particularly rare with UG) check
  • Numbered Mnandis check
  • Numbered Regular Sebenzas (particularly rare with UG) check

I've always been jealous of the Sebenzanista collection . . .

There were less than 25 Pachmayr knives made with the owners names engraved. Less than 50 for the total run. This was the pre-Project knife done back in 1987.

This is my Nkonka, one of two made with a clip point blade

What a great and informative thread!

I've been informed that there are two left handed H Sebenzas -- H41 and H85. Wealth of knowledge, our friend from Shanghai!.

I stand corrected, and better educated. Thank you my friend.

Well, check :D

I've always been jealous of the Sebenzanista collection . . .

When one master is jealous of another master, I just shut up and take notes...

I wonder how many pre-production's there are for each knife model.

  • Pre-Production P Sebenza check :D

Morse Code Sebenzas are pretty rare, only 6 made and the Reeve family has one of them. (Tangentially, I tried a while back to identify the whereabouts of the 5 that are "in the wild" and have located three (james g, DUCky, and me).

The one-of-a-kind September 11 Sebenza is, well, one of a kind. I don't think the picture is still in the thread, so here is one:

Thieves, Thanks for the Lock 45 picture--hadn't seen it before. I think I have seen pix of only 3, but I guess there were at least 13 made.

Vintage, unopened, CRK complimentary Tuf-Cloth. Very rare. It's not for sale so don't even ask.

I was there a week ago or so and asked him if I could take a photo of it. :D
