What are the odds of a Medium size Sebenza being made?

Hi All,
Would anyone have any inside scoop if this has any shot at happening? I've been pocketing a traditional lately and its been surprisingly quite enjoyable. Still can't get CRK's out of my mind or Ti-Framelocks in general, most likely just not for EDC though as I work in an office in Manhattan, NY. That said any chance of a Sebenza in size M ever getting launched?

Very unlikely. CRK has sort of been advertising the Ti-lock as the midpoint between the two Sebenza's. And since they have yet to even release the Small 25, 25 inlays, and the insingo Nyala, I doubt there is anything else in the pipeline at CRK.

I'd say about 0%. I don't have a source for you, but I remember reading that Chris has addressed this and said it wouldn't happen. I could be misremembering though. I personally don't think a medium sebenza would make much sense. Between the Mnandi, Small, Ti-Lock, and Large/Umnumzaan, It think they pretty much have the spectrum covered.

Count me in as another who highly doubts there will be a medium-size Sebenza.

Collectively we should send half down payments to Chris and force the issue!!! I don't want a Mnandi or a Ti-Lock. A medium 'benza would be great though!

Mr Chris is in "streamline mode" (imo). Just look at the shared pivots on the 25, umnum and tilock. Also, the jimping on the umnum and 21's...the back standoffs/lanyard post on the 25/tilock....Double lugs are now standard on 25's...that will cut out everyone sending in their 25's to switch out every combination available.. I just dont see where a "medium" whatever fits in.

Really though, the Ti-lock is an awesome knife. As someone who was looking for a knife between the two Sebenzas, it is sweet. I suggest you try it out if ever given the chance.

I need another knife like I need a lobotomy. I went on some crazy run the past six months seemed like one was coming into my hands or leaving every week. That said..

The CRK's are just purrdy examples of engineering not to have at least one. I think I could settle for a small easy peasy though, was hoping that a midsize 'benza might be in the works. It would be a fun size to have in a collection. Xmas is not too far off and a good excuse to pick one up! Thanks for the Intel all...

Not to be blasphemous or disrespectful but the Ti-lock looks like something a Borg would shaft captain Jean luc picard with in the year 2087. Its a little too modern for me.

The Ti-lock certainly looks weird. But I'll take functionality over looks every day of the week.

^^^^ it is right between, but kind of funny looking to me also! I would say the odds of a med sebenza are right around zero just stated above:)

with 2.75, 3.0, 3.25, 3.6 in offerings...I think the medium size isn't really all that needed..

This ^ .......... The Ti-lock rocks in every sense of the word. Many people don't give it a chance, and many who do so end up letting them go before fully mastering all of its mechanisms. It is such a versatile and simple knife all in one and easily the most enjoyable knife to play with/use. Its blade length leaves no wanting for a larger knife while maintaining the size and weight of a small sebenza - who could ask for more?

.....well, maybe me and maybe a Damascus Ti-lock. :D

It is quite versatile, I agree. There are lots of unique and fascinating things about it, which makes using it that much more enjoyable. It may be the most underrated of all the CRK offerings, despite its Blade of the year award, no one really seems to take notice or appreciate it.

Some decorated Ti-locks would be sweet! Damascus, inlays, UG...Bring it on!

I love the Ti lock! It did have to grow on me, but its an incredible knife.

I'd buy a discounted used "medium" on the Exchange, were there such a thing, just to check it out. I don't see one forthcoming. Honestly, it is a solution looking for a problem. Nice idea for collectors though, or perhaps if it had some sort of "gimmick" like an overbuilt heavy blade and overbuilt handle - Dua/Beast/Seraphim anyone? Already been done I guess.
