IMO
There are flats between the serrations at the same angle as the rest of the blade which your flat stone hits. The DMT 600 grit conical diamond file can deal with all your serrated knives curved parts irreguardless of their radii. That'll cover any serrations you come across . I found chainsaw files too coarse or the wrong diameter for serrations. You could even use the folded edge of sandpaper in a pinch. Hope this helps.
