What are we doing this weekend?

Mark, prayers sent my friend. You'll be fine, and the surgeon will have great steady hands, I've been through it.
As to what I'm doing this weekend, I'm working on my newly found 500 pound Peter Wright. The top was in poor shape, so with the help of a friend on the net, Ralph Sproul, I've used my 500 amp Linde MIG to fix the face, and have been grinding on it for several days now. It's starting to look like new (well, the face is, the rest of it still requires work.)
Weather here in S. Texas is perfect for anything anyone would want to do this weekend. All of you move to here!

Mark, good luck with your surgery! Tell the doc to do a good job, because we are gonna be checking on you. I have 3 hunters almost finished, but have been home sick all week with this damn chest flu and haven't even been in the shop. I had a flu shot a while back, but this stuff finds a way around it.

Mark, I wish you the best with your procedure. Best thoughts sent.

It looks like this weekend, I'm basically screwing off. I haven't had more than a holiday weekend off for over a year and work has been unbelievable lately with many 12+ hour days and a lot of pressure. My wife has gone to a trade show for the day, my grinders are both down as I've been so damn busy that I haven't been able to take the time to order the two VFDs I need to put them back in service, so no grinding for this boy right now. Hopefully I'll be able to take the time Monday to call Rob and see what he wants for just the VFD part of his drive package. The good news is that while I've been overworked, a little bonus just showed up that will more than cover the VFDs :)

So for me, it's pick up dog leavings, drinking some beer and maybe play some video games. Time to relax!
