What are you collectors buying today?

The 2 110's that really interest me is one thats old enough that the blade was still hand ground or a 2002 model with the state of Idaho date stamp (just for kicks)

2002 model 110 has the Anvil stamp. 2005 has the Idaho

Then there is the 111 with Idaho laser cut in the blade, with Idaho year date. Found some of them at Cabela's back in 2008 when at the Buck collector's 20 year anniversary. HL

Hmmm, well lately I haven't been buying much of anything. I seem to have reached a saturation point and I haven't found much that I'm interested in owning. I do keep an eye out on the auction sites and the forum sales but it seems most things that come up are a "been there, done that" sort of thing. The upside to this situation is that I've found that month to month, my checking accounts are growing in leaps and bounds in comparison to when I was constantly buying!

I have accumulated some one off customs and some that are rehandled in material suitable for scrimshaw work. I'll be having more of that done when I can come up with some good ideas for subject matter.

As a matter of fact, I believe in the last two or three months, I've given away more Buck knives than I've bought. ;)

I figure that if it makes my eyes go 'pop' I should probably buy it.....even if it costs a lot.

:D
