What are YOU doing...

if I had the money, and I do not have the money :grumpy:, I would drive to solvang to buy a 6 pack of carlsberg, and a bottle of peach lambic.

two of the greates beers ever, carlsberg and birra morretti.

the peach lambic is just because I'm a soda junky, and it tastes like sparkling peach soda/juice.

Who is distributing New Belgian ales east of the Mississippi? I'd love to see some Fat Tire down here!!!

The Costcos around here sell Fat Tire. I don't know about the East side of the country or if there are even Costcos where you are at. Best of luck.

We are so lucky with what is available around our area, both what is made locally and what is imported. I feel sorry for the folks that live in beer wastelands:(

I love Rogue anything. The stuff they sell in the clay bottles is amazing. (Way overpriced, but good...) I also like anything by Stone. Sierra Nevada Seasonal Ales are pretty darn good too. Anybody in Socal should make a trip to the Stone Brewery. The Food is unbelievable and they have a huge selection of beers, (not just theirs, suprisingly.) This week I've been drinking beers from Kona. Longboard Lager and their Pale Ale. YUM!

I'm always on the look out for a good flavorful dark beer, if anyone has any suggestions. Something like dopple bock or Ale with interesting flavors, but nor florral like a Trappist Ale. Happy end of prohibition!

Great Dopplebocks:

Ayinger Celebrator

Schneider Aventinus

Schneider Aventinus Eisbock (frozen and some water is removed)--pretty sweet and fairly potent!

Oh jeeze--you would bring up the 'erectus huh 8? :D

Very tasty Imperial IPA from Walking Man Brewing for the uninitiated

i'm sitting here in eugene drunk by myself, played darts by myself, and other things by myself...

lots of knife folks wandering around, i met a gal from denver, she said the flight was totally full and packed with knife people heading to the show
