What are you getting your Pops

my dad died at age 94, dropped dead suddenly, and that was in 1997. I still miss him terribly and wish I could get him a gift. Just do something while your father is alive.

My father died some 20 years ago. I still carry his pocket knife on occasion.

Dad was a flashlight guy (Back in the days of the D-cell). I'd likely be getting him yet another if he were alive.

My dad has been carrying the same Kershaw Blackout for about 5 years, give or take, so I ordered him a Benchmade Mini-Grip. He is going to love the Axis lock once he gets used to it. The only knives that he will buy for himself these days are Scandinavian Puukkos, and that is rare.

On reason I went with the Benchmade is because he is left handed and the axis is truly ambidextrous. He had been using his Blackout in his left pocket with the clip set up for righties.

It is going to be a little bit of a study: Which will he like more for deployment -Benchmade Axis lock or Kershaw Speedsafe? Time will tell!

A Mini Mag flashlight because he just lost his last one. Maybe a little something extra if I can come up with something.
