Since we have a "what did you get" and a "what do you want" for christmas thread, and since Christmas is about giving What are you Giving for Christmas? Whether it be to friends, family, co-workers, whatever.

This year i am giving my dad a matching shaving set with a badger hair brush, matching razor handle for mach3 inserts, stand and some shave soap in his favorite scent.

I haven't quite decided what to get for my mom, but I'm thinking of an ipod touch to put books on tape on.

Well. living on a different planet than most of you guys, I bought two fifty kilo sacks of rice and one fifty kilo sack of beans for each of my workers.
I also got them all a medium rolipolli ?, from Maxpedition. Great gadget for harvesting fruit and veggies.
This goes with their one month salary Holiday bonus, which is mandated by law.
Simple folks, simple schtuff...with a bit of good ole Ameritechno tossed in.
Last year was Frogg Toggs and Inova XO flash lights, which they cherish.

T.O., that is awesome. Practical things is what I strive to give also. My sons have knives and some keychain firesteels, my mom and sister some fancy soap and decorative towels, my gf a gift card, my dad is the toughest since he never wants anything. Maybe a book or two. We keep it low-key.

Alot for the boys...My oldest is getting a badass airsoft gun, and Call of Duty Modern Warfare, and a Mora, and a Cell phone, among other things. My Middle is gettin some Xbox games, a mora, wrestling stuff, and a NICE set of 2-way radios. My baby boy is all about GI Joe, so he is hooked up phat in that dept...

The wifey is getting a gourmet Picnic setup, A bar mounted wine opener, some GOOD wines, among other things....

This year I got my dad for the gift exchange (the adults in my family do it secret santa style), I think I'll get him a leatherman to replace the PST I lost for him several years ago. I traded into a Gerber tool which I gave him, but I really don't like it, so I think it's time to replace it with a better tool.

I also found a couple of DVDs of Flash Gordon episodes at the dollar store, which he'll get a kick out of.

My mom is getting some perfume she has wanted, my dad is getting a new blade, still undecided as to what. I am getting my brother a Sharpmaker, I believe.

Got my dad the same awesome tactical fleece I grabbed for myself off of LA Police Gear. My grandfather is getting a douk-douk. :)

We are giving my mother a decorative hand wrought stainless steel fish for her Florida room in Key Largo. My niece is getting a prehistoric Mako tooth I found in the Peace River, that I wrapped with silver wire and made a silver chain for, see below, it's the one in the middle. I gave her a SAK Super Tinker at Thanksgiving, she asked me for a knife, no need to wait for that I just pulled it out of my pocket and handed it over. My nephew is getting two Honer harmonicas in the keys of E and C. My brother in law is getting an electric nail gun and an Ugly Stick for a Shimano Baitrunner 4500 his buddy gave him. My sister is getting a set of 6 hand turned crochet hooks in a walnut presentation case. For my wife I've gotten a 550 loft queen size goose down comforter and a Uberti Cattleman with the 5.5" barrel in .357 so she can shoot down loaded .38s, she wants to get more involved in S.A.S.S. and I can use the .357 as a kit gun when larger predators occupy areas I may find myself in, on occasion.

I have everything in hand except the Uberti but I'm running down one of them now.

Broke, son on the way, I think I'm going to have to make some gifts.

I've got a son on the way too! Had to get creative gifts-wise, but it's doable! :o
Hey, congrats, man! Exciting, isn't it?
I just wish I still had my mig welder, I'm kinda hopeless in the gift making department without it. It's ok though, I'm probably getting baby outfits for Christmas anyway. :D

Most years I make all my Christmas gifts. I usually start in the summer months to finish up on time. Not so much this year, Christmas is so much more fun and memorable for me when I make the gifts.

Much of the stuff, about half, in this slide show has been given as gifts to family and friends over the years. I made almost all of this junk except for the Tele and a few of the guns.
Leather, knives and misc.

Most of this stuff I made too and much of it has been given as Christmas gifts.
Mostly weaving and knitting
I give away much more than I sell, I do a few jobs for friends now and then.

Got my girlfriend a Fiddleback Karda with pink G-10 scales, a Jetscream whistle and a few other survival items. She's been bugging me to teach her survival skills so it's a way of getting her started.

My wife picked out a pretty little Lime Green Case two blade. So I'm giving her that and a few other things. Stopped at Ye Olde Gun Shoppe to see if they had any .357's with a 2 inch barrel...but they were out. So I guesss it's some other form of jewelry.

My father is getting a yellow handled Case Medium Stockman in CV. With his initials carved into the handle by the good folks at "Knife Works". The yellow handled stockman has significance to me and him: it's all he used to carry when I was a child, but he always traded them off for something. I figure a yellow hand with his initials from his only son will be harder to get rid of than one he just bought himself.

My step mother the same (she hinted that she needs a good knife. So I got hers to match his)

My kid is getting so much crap it'd just be easier to list what he ISN'T getting.

Plus a few other folks.

my new girlfriend, plus her three sisters are all getting dog spray, then camping stuff for my two god sons, everyone else is done

I'm getting my 10 yr old nephew a Buck Mini Mentor knife
His 1st fixed blade!!!

My sister likes the author Sue Grafton
So, I guess I will wait in line on Saturday at Borders Books and get her an autographed copy of her latest book

NO GF this Xmas :(
More money in my wallet though:)

Mom is getting a new iPod dock, some perfume, and a new BlueTooth set-up to replace the crappy one in her car (all things she asked for) and 6 Knockout Rosebushes planted.

Dad is getting something, but I have no idea what at the moment.

Youngest brother is getting Transformers, probably a new knife, and a decent compass.

Middle brother and I agreed not to buy gifts for each other and usually split the cash to buy gifts for the youngest.

No GF to give anything to :(

I had planned on giving a great Christmas to my wife and three sons this year, as the past few were mighty lean. All is on hold now, as my wife's mother was just diagnosed with colon cancer and goes to surgery next Wednesday.
