A few members brought up Deftones on page 1. Thought I'd share a favorite band of mine they covered a few years ago...

Hot Snakes is made up of some of the same band members. Obviously, it's a little more streamlined in approach than DLJ was. They are what I considered contemporary punk rock at the time I was in high school.

I finally got to see them a few years ago. Steve Howe and Chris Squire were manning their stations... it was amazing for somebody who wasn't around back then. I got a bit smashed during Peter Frampton's opening set, but was in a good place by the time they took the stage...
