Swedish metal rocks!

Naturally, to chill, I listen to the greatest blues guitarist (in my opinion): Mike Bloomfield in Supersession, with Al Cooper on organ. He was the guy Clapton and Buchanan listened to.

This has been stuck in my head for weeks now, but I'm not complaining.

Right now, though, I'm listening to some laid back country

Cavalry_Scout good thread :)
Ken44... Nice!

Daft Slice, we definitely are on a similar sonic page-- your JAMC sig is why I sent you an add to begin with.
Not saying this band blows my mind, but they put on a fun show a few months ago and I've been blasting the album here and there...

Thanks Daga!

No freeloading....this is a local Houston band

A few members brought up Deftones on page 1. Thought I'd share a favorite band of mine they covered a few years ago...
Just found this edit with the movie Hard Boiled... wow haha.

Hot Snakes is made up of some of the same band members. Obviously, it's a little more streamlined in approach than DLJ was. They are what I considered contemporary punk rock at the time I was in high school.
Today, this jam's a ritual before my stick/blade fighting competitions :D

But this... this is one of my sonic "grails"
I finally got to see them a few years ago. Steve Howe and Chris Squire were manning their stations... it was amazing for somebody who wasn't around back then. I got a bit smashed during Peter Frampton's opening set, but was in a good place by the time they took the stage... :)
