What are you listening to?

I've been listening to music a lot lately at work. I don't know who knows what Slacker is, but that's what I use. I work to a giant mix simply called "everything" that has Shinedown, Korn, Linkin Park, Skillet, 3 Doors Down, and about 30 other bands on it. On the more difficult days I listen to a mix I call "classical awesomeness" that's mainly made up of movie music, the kind of stuff on things like Transformers, and 300.

Slacker Radio is pretty cool. When I'm getting frustrated with Pandora not playing a single playlist that matches my mood, I can generally count on Slacker or iHeart Radio to find something worth while. Right now I'm listening to some good old Good Charlotte.

Last minute work in the grinding room calls for some angry music...A Day to Remember, Bullet for My Valentine, Atreyu, Five Finger Death Punch, Heaven's Basement, The Pretty Reckless, Slipknot and quite a few more are shuffling their way through a playlist right now.

Just heard about this genre this week. Synthwave. Love it.

It's been a while, what are you all listening to? Currently, I'm listening to the smooth sounds of old silver tongue himself Frank Sinatra.

One thing I forgot to mention when I posted this a little while ago -

We required the sound of aboriginal click sticks in certain parts of the song. A bit of a dilemma: I don't have any.

So, the next best substitute - AMS knives!!! What you hear in this recording are several layers of me clicking the handles of two AMS knives together to create the aboriginal click stick sound. Cool!!!!
