What are you using for deeper tang hole drilling

Really good discussion guys, thanks! Was just preparing my first hidden tang knife and approaching it much differently now that I have read this!
 
Thanks for the tips folks and for the link Nick, I think I'm gonna order a couple longer regular LOC bits but I may try the larger hole with this one knife--I'm just a try to get a tight fit kind of guy.
 
Don- I think you'd be surprised how close of a fit you can get with careful lay-out and John's broach.

You actually don't want to fit the tang in there TOO snug... you need a bit of room for the epoxy to surround the tang and grab hold.
