Now that I understand what you are saying here. Your problem is the area that you are using the beeswax on, is not completely clean.Clean with Windex to remove all residue and try the wax not super hot, just hot enough too flow. When real hot it runs over the area and doesn't really stick. You may have to apply with a tongue depressor or popsicle stick to make it bond better. It might also help to warn the steel slightly so that the steel and the wax cool together. Hope that helps!
