You might be waiting foreverThe one thing I am waiting for is a preorder on a CPK Basic 5. I managed to get a couple of others Carothers over the last couple of years, and may be done buying those. I have bought a lot of knives in the last few years, mostly to satisfy my curiosity. There is nothing that I particularly want to buy, but you never know when the impulse will strike.
This is me as well. I believe it has been over a year, but I tend to pick something up every year or so.My last knife purchase was in late 2022. I've only recently returned to this site; but I have no intention of falling back into prior purchasing decisions...I've got more than enough knives
(Prove me wrong)
Work Tuff Nomad EDC.. Missed the first run and supposedly they are coming out with a slightly revised knife Sept/Oct!!
Gotta hold on!!!

For me, insingo is the way to go, both in function and ease of sharpening on a fixed angle sharpening system.I'm waiting for DLT exclusive XM-18 3.5" skinny no-choil slicer with Magnacut steel, if they have one in the pipeline (they may already have had one but I missed?). I am also about to buy a large Sebenza 31 in magnacut with wood inlays - there are such knives currently available but I can't seem to make up my mind between drop point and insingo.
LOL, if you would make a CPK in magnacut you'd be golden! With all these posts lately of members talking about wanting to quit buying knives..........?
I sure did pick a good time to start making them. Hahaha!!! :O
You won't be disappointed with a Spartan Harsey. Just don't get a large unless you REALLY like to pocket a large knife. They are very substantial!I've entered the phase in my collecting that my desire has diminished and my income has increased. I'm sort of in the sweet spot where there is nothing that really jumps out at me as I am a user first and foremost not a collector, but I generally have the funds to buy what I want if I can justify it to myself.
So I have a few things on my radar. I think I see a Spartan model of some sort in my future. The LKS is carrying them, and they seem like a fine addition to my rotation...but I don't feel a need to hold out for or hunt down anything, really.
Haha.... I'm sure my recent Cruwear one would hold it's own pretty well.....LOL, if you would make a CPK in magnacut you'd be golden!
I didn’t grab one when you gave me the info.I own a second run in N690 from late last year myself, I will be very interested to see what the revisions are!!
