Lol, that's about right. Refeshing the Fiddleback Market over and over is about as entertaining as most of what is on TV.

Not to resurrect an older thread, but it just finished the first season of House of Cards the show produced by Netflix starting Kevin Spacey. Wow... Highly recommended!

Anyone else watching this?

Funny you should mention it. My wife and I started it a couple nights ago. Really liking it so far.

American Pickers
Pawn Stars
Down East Dickering
Dual Survival
Ghost Adventures
Beyond Scared Straight
NHL Playoffs

We watch a lot of the shows already mentioned.

I'll say this though, if your humor is anything like mine, you'll like Silicone Valley on HBO. Mike Judge (and a fantastic cast!) at his finest. :)

24 just came back! Besides that, it's Game of Thrones and then whatever my wife has DVRed. I live half of my life offshore and I don't buy into the corporate brainwashing during that time. All of my TV watching is via DVR so I get to fast forward though the brainwashing.

What ever you do, don't watch any of the repo shows: Lizard Lick Towing, South Beach Tow etc... I think watching them actually kills brain cells. I feel stupid after watching 5 minutes of any of those shows. Actors acting as non-actors in a reality show that is the furthest thing from reality, IDK...

So I was holding off on watching the current season of game of thrones cause I like to watch several episodes at a time. Part of the reason was I was pretty pissed at certain characters dying last season. But after 3 episodes last night, I'm like, this show continues to keep me interested! (which is rare as I have short attention span). I laughed my butt off at the Hound's reply to Arya when she said lots of people name their swords. Then you see Joffrey naming his sword during his wedding celebration! LOL!!!

I'mhooked on McLeod's Daughters on Netflix, the story of 2 sisters running the family farm in the outback of Australia.

I watched "Ripper Street" season 1 and 2, good show about the time after Jack the Ripper. Also watching "Heroes" quite entertaining.

I break it down into three categories. I'll preface by saying we don't have HBO, Show, etc.

Shows I will go out of my way or record to watch:

TWD
Vikings
The Curse of Oak Island
MMA
NFL
College football
Postseason basketball (college and professional)

Shows my wife records that I will watch (but probably wouldn't bother on my own):

The Following
The Vampire Diaries
The Originals
Under the Dome
Royal Pains

Other:

Anything interesting on History, Discovery, NatGeo, Food Network, HGTV.

Ken you have got to get Downunder mate and that was a great series although it finished here a while back. I'm glad it gets appreciated over your way.

Mick.

Watching the new season of Fargo with Billy Bob Thornton and Martin Freeman (Bilbo Baggins), I think True Detective has a rival :P
