These are the handmade/custom knives I have: Crawford, Kurt Meerdink, Bud Nealy, Mel "Madpoet" Sorg, Mark Boyer, Al Polkowski, Dozier, and various HI/GH's. I am still waiting on Mike "Running Dog" Murphy and an Ed Schott.

My favorites so far are:

Pat/Wes Crawford - whose work I first saw in Tactical Knives and heard about in KF.

Mad Poet - whom I met here.

Kurt Meerdink - Read about in Tactical Knives.

Al Polkowski - heard about in KF/BF

Dozier - Heard about in KF/BF and saw at Blade Show.

Almost all my HI/GH khukuris - learned about in KF and started to buy from BF.

TROY BROWN in 95' at Gun and Knife show. Had table next to me and found out he was a neighbor. Always eager to share new ways and methods of knifemaking with me.
GREG NEELEY and JOE FLOURNOY in spring of 97' at Washington, Ark. Hammer-in.Encouraged me to join the American Bladesmith Society and shared their philosophy that only your very best was good enough.
JERRY FISK same time, same place. A man dedicated to the promotion of knifemaking as an art as well as a working tool.
BILL MORAN JR. Same time same place. Has never been too busy to stop and share a moment or information with a stranger or friend.
As you can see, my trip to a hammer-in had a major influence on my knife making carreer. There are a lot more than 5 favorites as knife makers and quite a few customers that have had an influence on my knife designs. Most will know who they are.
