What are your dress up knives?

If I have suit, I don't want anything that drags the pockets (hence risking the "posture" of the suit).. So I'd propably go with something like opinel.

I grab this one when dressing up. Love its light weight and the slim profile. Carries well in a set of dress paints, sports coat, or tux.

In most cases it is C83 Persian/Kopa Cocobolo combo, if I have to wear suit or it is out of state than Kopa/ Micro-Dyad. Hopefully Lil Persian will join this company soon.

Northfield #25 EZ Open barlow. Only three inches long but beefy round so its not danty.

This is mine, Made by Steve Fecas, engraved by Ron Nott. Gold inlay, red coral scales. I've found most folks focus on "pretty" and ignore everything else. (Steve just shipped me another in Ivory; I'm looking forward to the mail.)

One of several:
Kerry Hampton swayback

Need to find a classy dagger... any recommendations?

A lot depends on what you classify as a "dagger". And they can get pretty spendy when you start looking at Warinski, Rapp, and the rest of the Art Knife makers.

For reasonable money you can get a nice basic dagger from Don Lozier and if you want it fancier have someone with talent scratch on it. Like this:

You can also look at "Boot" knives and do the same, such as this from Frank Diluvio:

(Both of the above knives engraved by Russ Zima.)

Dress-up - Snakewood Mnandi

Casual - Al-Mar Nomad

Jeans (also hunting) - Swamp Rat Rat Trap

Hard Use/Yard Work - My old beater Spyderco Native.

It used to be a small Seb in the pouch, but I have instead opted for an Ontario RAT railsplitter with rams horn scales. Hopefully, I'll be carrying a small desert ironwood Sebenza on Christmas Eve ;).

My G.O.M. Italian stiletto switchblade always makes me feel "classy", unfortunately it's illegal to carry. It's got a mirror polished blade, buffalo horn scales, and really tight lockup and deployment. One of my favorite knives, but also least used.

When I dress up I normally carry my Spyderco Police3. The black scales/clip blend in with a suit pretty well.

Plus its big yet very slim and rides well.

Spyderco Lava or Lum Chinese, or a slippie... usually my Case chestnut bone Swayback Jack. Elegant, curvy knives.

I've never given it a lot of thought as I like knives that are fairly large, 4.0" blade or longer, and tend to carry the same knife to church as I would carry everyday. I guess my Sunday knives have been a Kershaw G-10 Tyrade, ZT0205, and a ZT0500. BUT, in recent weeks I've had an urge to go with some smaller , 3.5" give or take, maybe dressier knives. My first acqusition has been the Boker Titan Defender which you could consider a dressy knife. My next two are a Fallkniven PXL w/maroon micarta scales, and a large Sebenza with African Blackwood inserts, both dressy knives in my opinion. I don't know if they would really count though as I will carry each one 7 days a week with no change off for Church, or other such events, but guess they would be more presentable than a all black ZT0500!:)
