What are your three most favorite knives?

1 - Spyderco Military. This knife is my EDC.

2 - Bark River Rogue. This is a great knife.

3 - BAS. My first, and still my favorite. It started the whole HIKV thing for me. It has a convex edge, and fits my hand perfectly. It has a beautiful streaked horn handle with an egg-shaped cross section. When I hold this knife, it just feels right.

1. My Shop 1 16.5" WWII
2. 22" GRS
3. 21" GS

Number 1 is a definite, the second two are khuks that I've used fairly often.

1- Scott Cook drop point hunter
2- Benchmade 630-501 Skirmish
3- PCC Samson 705 Boot knife

1. any gelbu special
2. my Welsh Fusiliers' Trench Knife. (1 of 2)
3. Mikov Auto (strong and actually usable switchblade)

1. My HI BAS

2. My Leatherman.

3. My Chinese Warring States sword.

I use the Leatheman most, and I don't care that Leatherman has screwed up politics.

Boy, you guys are slipping... A "3 favorite knives" thread and no pics?? :grumpy:

For example, I'd love to see what Bill's Chinese Warring States Sword looks like.......

Anyway, I took the luxury of choosing *4*

Two that I own, and two that I may ever own...

I picked this up from bladegallery.com about a year ago... wonderful knife.

This is the Bowie I got at the Blade show last year ~ stays next to my bed most of the time. This is the one thing I would grab if I could only grab one thing.

By Don Fogg ... maybe someday I'll happen upon this knife. But hopefully not fall upon. :D

And this fighter is by Joseph Szilaski. I tried to buy this knife. I really did. I missed it by a weekend. I'm thinking about having him make one for me, might talk with him at this year's Blade show. I know it is a simple knife, but it just does something for me.

Thanks for the thread Heather. Welcome to the Cantina.

(1) The middle sized one of three Petersen 'No Sweat Forge" Damascus knives I have.....Like Goldilocks said "Juuust right".

(2) An 18" AK hybrid by Kumar, just a little more pointy, a little lighter, and a whole lot faster than my other khuks (interestingly it's not the one that rides in my pickup everyday, a 18" WWII)

(3) A little A.G. Russell ATS-34 folder that rides in my jeans every day.
