I've stated before that I have a difficult time using a nice, new Buck knife. I have bought Buck knives with different steel or handle, thinking that I'll use it and I don't for various reasons.
My solution has been to buy used. For example, most recently I bought a new 124 thinking that I would use it as a camp knife. That handle was to large and blocky. Sent it to Leroy to work on but still didn't like the feel in hand...so last week while surfing the bay I find an older 124 and buy it hoping that the handle would be smaller and rounder...has some dings and scuffs but the handle fells much better.
Here is my user to be 124...what are yours? Preston
