I've stated before that I have a difficult time using a nice, new Buck knife. I have bought Buck knives with different steel or handle, thinking that I'll use it and I don't for various reasons.

My solution has been to buy used. For example, most recently I bought a new 124 thinking that I would use it as a camp knife. That handle was to large and blocky. Sent it to Leroy to work on but still didn't like the feel in hand...so last week while surfing the bay I find an older 124 and buy it hoping that the handle would be smaller and rounder...has some dings and scuffs but the handle fells much better.

Here is my user to be 124...what are yours? Preston

Howdy Preston, my most used is a 110. I have many and a few custom sheaths so they all get rotated daily. I also use a 285 when I wear overalls and a 475 when I want a fixed blade. IMO, the 475 was one of bucks best knives.

That's all I currently have and they all get used, next will be a 119 with lefty leather sheath and it will get carried for EDC as well.

So far, my Buck EDC's have been or are a 110, and a 301 or 371, a 389, 877, and whatever the large trapper is.
Mostly it is the 110 on the belt with the 301 (or 371) and 389 in my pocket. :)
I might add the 877 as a "neck knife" or the 119 I recently bought (after it gets back from a SPA Treatment) if I can find a shoulder sheath for it.
Regardless of what else I may be carrying, the 110 is always on my belt.

I'm not sure anybody would recognize me without a blue pocket t shirt and a 110 on my belt. I rarely carry a sheath knife, love everyone I own, but the 110 does everything I need.

I carry a few 300, 500 and 700 series models from time to time as well as Spitfires, Vantage, Paradigm, 110 and 112 versions. Even my Buck Strider 880 SP gets pocket time. I might carry a brand new 110 or a 1st /1st 112. Just what ever catches my fancy that day.

The only Bucks I don't carry as part of my daily rotation are the fixed blade models. Not because they're Bucks but rather because I don't carry any fixed blades at work. Just no need. Now at home on the weekend is a different matter. If I need or want a FB then it'll probably be a wood handle 124 or a 639.

Varies with what I am doing, my usual (subject to change on a whim):
Deer Hunting: Buck 110, 118, 307 (sometimes a 303).
Turkey Hunting: Buck 112, 121. Pocketknife (not always a Buck).
Fishing: Buck 110, 121. Pocketknife (not always a Buck).
General outdoors: Buck 112 or 110.
All of mine are older and used, don't worry about them other than I don't abuse my knives.
OH

I've been going between a stag 110 with black oxide blades (from C&C), a Cabelas 110, and a lil Jack 112 (from SK). 112's haven't been getting much carry time recently though.

And a 501 that's been in my pocket constantly for a while now....
