What blades do you want right now?

If you are talking about which knife I would like my answer would be different, but I want to find a knife with either REX123 steel blade or one with d3,d5 or d7 steel blade. Yep, brittle, I know but I would love to be able to find any of these. A good handle is important, and size, but the steel itself gets me going. A very good thread, thanks.

I'd like a Winkler Skinning knife and the sayoc ax.
paramilitary 2
benchmade saddle mountain hunter
Skelton's red g10 Bodega

I'd love a Schrade USA large frame lockback ( LB 7, 60T, whatever) in their wonderful 1095. The Schrade + is easy to find, the 1095 not. It's becoming not my grail but my unicorn.

I'd even take a Craftsman , Camillus, or Ka Bar.

Small Sebenza, but I'm waiting on the small 25. If they don't come out before Christmas, then I'll look at getting an Mnandi in Box Elder or Snakewood. I really like a lot of what I've been seeing from Alan Davis, so maybe a custom from him instead

After getting my first Sebenza last week, my whole knife philosophy has changed. I'm not in a hurry to pick up anything, so one or two really nice knives a year will probably do it for me anymore. All in all, I don't see myself spending any more money than I have in the last few years on knives, just buying fewer of them.

Could not agree with your new philosophy any more. I have very recently adopted the same philosophy

I've slowly allowed myself to admit that I have enough knives and have been doing pretty good at keeping my addiction in check:rolleyes: Having said that I still feel the need for a Randall 18 and a Woodsman Hawk from Storm Crow.

I would like a Benchmade Osborne 943 in either S-90-V or M 390 steel. Benchmade is hitting all around it but never quite connecting.

My To Get List:

(order may vary)

ZT 0562
Manix 2
Spyderco Salt
Tasman Salt (Serrated)
BK16

I wan't a lot right now, but the one I could afford and am on the fence about buying is the Salt 1. I have two Pacific Salts and a H-1 Dragonfly and love the whole series. I just wan't a sub 3" Salt for legality reasons for certain areas, but the Salt 1 is exactly 3" so its the only thing keeping me from buying it right now. Why could they not of made it a fraction smaller.
