What blades have you broken?

Global 10 inch chef knife , some newb scrub knock it off my station and a chunk about a inch busted mid belly.CS recon scout broke at the hilt few winters back while batoning some soft wood in winter, they shipped me a free one tho.still my fav outdoor beater knife.

A crappy noname chinese knife I bought in OCMD. And the screws just fell out through minor use and playing with it.

I also dismantled my gerber paraframe to use the dull as dirt blade as a fire steel striker, if dismantlement counts as breaking.

Al Mar Sere...8inch blade with green micarta handles and latin inscription on blade...was finishing off some wounded goats (we were culling)..went inbetween the ribs and twisted hard (PING!!!)...hairline crack about an inch forward of handle...snapped entirely through a while later...i still have the blade and the sheath now houses my effingham blackjack nicely

Oddly enough, I've only broken two and both were from simply being dropped to the ground. One was about 30 years ago, A Fiskars fixed blade. I was young at the time, but I remember it was a fixed blade with a thin patina of rust, so must have been some sort of carbon blade. I dropped it on a concrete walkway leading up to our garage. The blade hit the ground and broke about an inch from the end.
The other was a rather large CASE stainless folder. I dropped it in the field while walking out to do some farm work. I remember reaching to pick it up and seeing the tip broken off about an inch or so from the tip thinking "WTF!?" " What kind of blade breaks after being dropped a few feet into a field comprised of soil and small stones??

My first CS Trailmaster Carbon v broke two hours after I bought it. Was testing it on a 1 1/2" sapling and the blade broke 1" from the guard, new knife from CS no questions asked.
Second was a CS UWK carbon v, broke on impact throwing it. Knife was out of production and my local dealer gave me a SOG Tech Bowie as a replacement....

Ialso break a Mora or two every month, but I abuse the h.... out of them, as chisels, prybars and things like that in my construction job...

I know the following was "abuse":
1. Broke about a half inch of the tip of my Buck 119 by throwing it into a plywood floor (not much to do in a tent in Saudi Arabia).
2. Broke a Leatherman file right quick by prying.
3. Broke the handles and hand guard off a Western W49 Bowie knife when I was a kid by throwing it at trees (the blade was fine).

1. A Mossberg clone of the Schrade Sharpfinger. It was on clearance at Meijer for $2.99. I batoned with it, and the handle scales came off. Then I had a thrower, and the tip snapped.
2. SOG Fusion Fixation. Story here... http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/641679-Fusion-Fixation-Bowie-Broke
3. I broke the blade on a Bucktool, but I was using it to pry.
4. I've broken several Swiss Army Knives.
5. A set that I got at the dollar store had three kitchen knives; a paring knife, a 6" slicer, and an 8" butcher. The handles fell off the last two while washing them. The parer snapped when I tried to sharpen it.
6. The tip of my Buck Nighthawk snapped off when it struck bone.
7. I torture-tested a few Moras, and only one survived (710).
8. A Frost kukri (it was $3) bent and chipped out after using it on some vines thinner than my pinky finger.
9. Several dollar store knives (I'm including Frost Cutlery here) have fallen apart from handling.
