What book are you reading?

just finished "a short walk in the hindu kush/eric newby" and looking forward to rereading "suttree/cormac mccarthy". i have a number of raurks books and find myself going back to "something of value" on a regular basis. Also find coopers "the deerslayer" and stevensons "kidnapped" worth going back to.

ps how did you like this? I heard a discussion about this book on the radio but it's genuinely hard to find at bookstores. Plus the last two gun shows I went to sold out their copies one the first day...

I'm only about 50 pages into it so I'm still getting the background info for the incident. I just heard Lt. Col. David Grossman speak at a conference here in Denver. He discussed the incident briefly and it's unimaginable. I know a few guys who have read the book and said it was excellent.

Still reading that 1995 text on Bistatic Radars. You know, the one that expands on the chapter in the second edition of Merrill Skolnik's Radar Handbook?

Man...this is slow going. Too much vector calculus, not enough pictures! :)
