What broadheads are you using this season?

Opening day is Thursday Sept 15th here in CT and I am excited! Bow season is my favorite. What do you folks use for broadheads? My hope is just to see what you use, not start a fixed/mech war. I shoot a compound with Slick Trick 1 1/8 inch heads. How about you????

I am with you on the magnum Slicktricks. Have not had a deer go over 40 yards after shooting them with those.

Hey bigcountry...don't take this as a criticism of your broadhead selection...I believe your experience with short blood trails is due to great shooting, and much less to the performance of the broadhead.

Call me old fashioned, but I'll be using Muzzy 125s.

Still using Rocky Mountain Ti-100's. Have been for quite a few years, and they still work. I'll probably be using them for another 20 years because I have quite a few of them left

I'm firmly in the K*I*S*S school of thought when it comes to such things.

as such, i'm using 125gr single bevel, twin blade Outback Supremes out of a 70lb Fred Bear Showdown compound @ 29" draw.

i daresay i'll be using them for a good long while yet. punched one broadside clean through a pig last week.

I love my two blade rages(mechanical) a couple NAP thunderheads in the quiver too normally.
Most fun thing is the small game heads from G5 though! Get a set and smack something everytime you go out!

My archery season just ended. Used (unsuccessful) Grim Reaper 1-3/8" razor tips. Now onto rifle season next weekend. :)

Some little three-blade deals I bought from Wal-Mart. I don't even remember what they're called, but they work and they don't rape my wallet. So that's all I care about.
Too many brand names give me a headache.

cant rmemeber the brand either but i used them years ago when i got back into bow hunting. killed a few with them. i never lost a deer with any of my shots but i am picky about my initial shot. if i cant know for fact that ill drill the double lung i pass.

I use 100 grain slick-tricks on Carbon Express arrows off a Parker compound. Shoots very fast and flat and I seem to able to get a sight picture very quickly. Going tomorrow to trim some shooting lanes in my "spot". Good luck everyone!
