What broadheads are you using this season?

it's really great being an Aussie.

given that pretty much all we can legally hunt is feral pest species. ergo: there are no 'seasons'. 24/7/365 is our pig/goat/deer/bunny/camel/buffalo/cat/dog 'season'.

if it's feral, it's in peril!

iirc, the only 'hunting season' we have is for duck shooting, and they're native animals.

for the record, it's flat-out illegal for me to shoot a 'roo unless i go through the hoops to get a Wild Game Harvesters license and set myself up as a professional Macropod Harvester. but then, i don't want to go shooting 'roos. we're gonna need them once the SHTF.
 
i agree with slick tricks. they are some of the best broad heads out there. i really digging the grizz tricks too.
 
Rage 2 blade 100 grain on the front of Gold tip xt hunters. I was skeptical of them after one of them kept opening in my quiver but after seeing the damage they did last year I'm a convert from fix blade. Well worth it to check them once in a while.

ME TOO! 125grain. First year with a longbow, I have shot recurves all my life...I am enjoying the targer practice, but man oh man, I can't wait for the season to start!
 
125 mag tricks. Slick Tricks are the ticket man. Not crazy expensive and the blades are replaceable. Plus they leave nasty holes.

RAge 100 2 blades my cousin and his friend uses do some nasty damage. i was/ is very skeptical of mechanicals. however i may have to try these out. if they have a better POI than my muzzy's (POI regarding practice tips vs the BH) ill get these next year... still hard to beat the phantoms. its 4 blades of some wicked cutting. the blood trails left by the phantoms were pretty insane. how these deer made it 50yds shocked me.
 
Whitetails are some amazing animals for sure. I blew the two main areteris out with a slug gun and the stinking thing still ran 65 yards. They are hardy.

esp bucks during prime rut.. they are so juiced up on testosterone they will run many yards even with a partial heart shot and double lunger... amazing
 
RAGE 3 Blade, big hole.
As it has been mentioned , shot placement matters more..
Carbin Express arrows,,Horton
Be safe out there..
 
Another vote for Rage 2 blades - BIL took a 7pt this year that I butchered. Double lung shot, passed clean through the deer. Deer went less than 30 yards.
