Just wondering how you found out about my knives, was it BF, Google, magazine article, Backwoodsman ad, or something else?

I found you here when you were still Stomper. I saw a couple of your Kepharts and liked what I saw and then fell in love with your Nessmuk which although I have a bunch of your blades I still don't have. One day soon hopefully.
After seeing threads by people like Udtjim and how much he liked them and others I was hooked.
After meeting you I realized that your knives are only half the story. They are fantastic knives but the guy making them is a great guy and friend now too.

I was starting to think about custom knives and looked it up here on BF, found a bunch of information about good well priced custom makers here on bf. Looked them all up but I prefered your designs (the pot stood out especially) the best while looking through the pictures here.

I think the first time I heard of your knives was in a magazine aricle but I really can't remember. Then a few years ago when I started being a little more active on Blade Forums is when I really discovered your knives and how much I liked the designs and that is when I knew I had to have one.

I was searching images of custom knives on the web and came across your knives. I saw the Pocket Kephart and new I had to have one. Then I ordered a Kephart HD a few days later.

I remember when you were stomper, and I think I saw some of your stuff in the wilderness subforum. I originally was looking at Koster's subforum for awhile, but he didn't seem to have his act together with the customer service side of things.

I looked to see what subforums were getting alot of attention, and yours had good action, so I checked it out. The rest is history...

I found you through joinin bladeforums.com. I noticed you were from Illinois, so I decided to show some support for a hard working local.

Glad I did!

best

Mountain Folk Mike posted a photo of his Bottom K Hiker's Backup and I really liked it. I think my second JK was the MI Trail Knife. It was a pleasure to hang out with you that day! :)

I found you on BF. I really like the knife designs and soon discovered the positivity of the JK community.

I stumbled upon your work here on BF. Saw some good looking knives in the picture thread and asked some questions. There are some great people that hang out here.

I found you through the wilderness and survival forum. I believe it was a review of the Phoenix for rocky. I still love that knife.

I decided I wanted a custom edc fixed blade and started researching the makers here on BF. I kept coming back to your designs and went with the Huron edc. It's one of my favorite knives.

Back when you were Stomper and Bearthedog reviewed your oak handled Kephart. Mine had micarta liners and an oaken handle. Used the heck out of it and gave it to my older son's buddy who took it to basic training. I miss that knife! I've owned over 20 of your knives over the years and I'm proud to be a part of this little corner of the Internet.

Thank you!

Google. I found your work while cruising the web for a CBK with a better handle than what comes on the production models (too damn thin for me).

I don't recall exactly how you found you initially, but I imagine it was here on BF. I remember seeing a knife of yours with the scale left on (just recently realized it was a Lobo) and loving it. I do remember coming to BF, seeing your Proud Supporter knife, and signing up for one immediately.
