I've never really been a fan of Buck knives. Last year a brother of mine gave me a Buck/Strider folder and it was a very well made knife and my first Buck. I recently sold it because it was too thick and I don't like liner locks.
A couple months ago I saw a pic of a Buck 116 Caper for the first time, and it is the only Buck fixed blade that is legal to carry here where there is a 3.5" blade length restriction. With the pouch sheath tucked into my back pocket it just looks like a non-offensive traditional lockblade. It is not my favorite knife, but I carry it everywhere now and use it a lot. I'm very happy with the Buck 116. :thumbup:
