Yep you got it. Man never realized I could fall in love with a used knife in such a short time.

I had carried an ecolite 110 almost exclusively for a year and a half but when I got my vantage force 847, it kinda got stuck in the edc box and neglected:( Giving it a little pocket time today.

Imafritz, how does the scalloping on the handles work for you on the Ecolite 110. I'm considering replacing my 486 with one as my primary backpacking knife. I do like the 112 front curve on the handle of the 486 but otherwise prefer the 110. Was wondering if the Ecolite 110's scallops add to a more secure feel in the hand.

It fits very well, whether the thumb is there or fist grip and my pointer finger comes around. I used it a couple years ago for deer season and it worked very well on a buck and a doe. Paperstone grip increases when wet with blood.

Heh. Looks like you're wearing a tie. My grandfather got a deer wearing his church clothes once.

Thanks for the report.

Re the thread, today like most days, it's the Ecolite 112/442

3 dot 110 with employee added finger grooves that was given to me by a fellow forumer a couple years ago....thanks again g.

sitflyer, that canoe looks to be just about the perfect pocket knife. Good choice.

I'm sitting here waiting for hurricane Sandy to make her way up the coast, so right now I have a Buck 055 and Vic Pioneer in my pockets.

Wow...that canoe is BEAUTIFUL! Details please? Both blades look to have Bos s30 stamps? Love it.

It's a buildout from the Chuck Buck / AG Russell collaboration. The spear is 154 CM, and the Wharncliffe is S30V...both Are marked accordingly and with the Paul Boss symbol.
The blades are really ground thin so it's a real slicer and sits very narrow in the pocket.
Covers are Mastodon Ivory.

Thanx for the compliments...

I bought this new 301 last week for an EDC pocketknife - this morning it goes into my LFP. OH
