What Buck are you carrying - right NOW?

This one. Just got it a couple of days ago and I'm trying it on for size. Dunno, the jury's still out on it. It makes me feel a little like Robocop or something. I'm used to the more traditional knives.

Hi pbd,

Give that Tempest some time in your pocket and you will get used to the ASAP. I never leave home without mine:thumbup:.

Maybe jb, but it's sort of like going from a tradition style Harley to one of the new Vrods. It will take some getting used to and a different mind set. I just may be too old for that.;)

"OLD"
LOL..pbd,

I don't believe that; not even for a minute. When I got my Tempest I was not doing Buck knives only. I had just found the spring assisted style knives. I bought 5-6 of them and the buck seemed more cumbersome/complicated than the rest. So I left it on the shelf for about 6 months and finally put it into the EDC rotation. As I was now up to speed on the spring assisted knives it was no longer cumbersome or complicated and it's safety features are superior IMHO. All the others are now dust collectors sitting on a shelf or have been sold off. Give your Tempest some time...if you still don't like it I'll be happy to take that one off your hands.

LOL, stay tuned! Right now I'm back to one of my trusty 110's for the day. It's the "basketweave" one that goes real well with a sheath I bought.

Sounds like a sweet combo. Lets see the knife and sheath together.
After all when we go out in public we maust have "matching attire". lol

Today its my 110 Idaho Date stamp horizonal nylon sheath and 350 multitool in pocket

I added my Buck Hartsook to my keychain along with my Photon light and Leatherman Micra.

In the watch pocket of my jeans, earlier I was carrying a Prince but have since switched to a 110.

I was in a Buck kind of mood today.

I forgot the little custom 503 in my pocket. I carry it in the pouch so my keys and such don't scratch it up.

I hear ya, I have the Rush, carry it everyday and it's a great knife. But, it is
a little too new styled for me. I'd like something more traditional with a clip but I haven't seen that yet. The 110 and 503 you posted along with their sheaths are really nice, more my style. I just can't carry a sheath in addition to all the other crap I have on my belt already!

I have not carried a Buck in about 3 weeks. I have been carrying my SAK's and several different Case's. But tonight I did put my 110 in my back pocket. But I still had 2 Case's and 2 SAK's with me as well. I know. Why do I need so many knives? I don't. But I take them anyways. If I had more pockets I would carry more. Just cause I can and sometimes I like to pull one out and look at it.

I feel like some kind of trator....I love my 112's but Joe sent me a 450 a while back as a replacement for a broke crosslock and I ...Like it.....

Your not a trator Bucksway.That 450 is a Buck.
Merry Christmas

It did not have the 'sleekness' of a 110/112...It looks a little clunky..But that rubber grip is mighty fine! It now is my 'little' truck Buck...I guess I need to keep a open mind about the whole Buck line-up..
