  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What Buck are you carrying today?

wow that's a nice one there.

Thanks brother. I'm glad I finally took the five minutes to figure out how to post pictures. That's a C&C model with a black oxide blade. I sanded the coating with 2000 grit and now it looks more like a really dark patina.

Not ice.
It's actually 36 inch wide coping made out of brake metal. Each piece was a full sheet.
Ford's Climatic Wind Tunnel Project in Allen Park MI. $200 Million. That's a lot of Bucks!
very cool. i missed that one by a mile.

JB,

So your a fellow tin knocker...…

I’ve been carrying this one for a couple of weeks. My first ‘modern’ Buck, I have many from the 60s and 70s.
After I sharpened it I proceeded to break down a large pile of cardboard boxes into small strips. Hundreds of slices later it would still draw cut paper. Very impressed with this modern Buck.

I modified the tanto into a ‘spanto’ To accommodate my use and quick, free hand sharpening technique.

389 with wood covers and 2014 date code. :)

EDIT: Oh! and 4 of a couple unmentionable here brands.

I can never carry just/only one knife.
