What Buck are you carrying today?

Nice combo. But you haven't shown the other side of that unique 111/110. Some might be interested in seeing the knife in its entirety. ;)

Truly a unique knife. Basically a 110 Slim Pro with an aluminum 111 "classic" attached to one side. I am a fan of these "frankenstein" knives made with left overs from other runs or old stock.

Tecate, thanks for the pictures. Yes, I'm a fan as well also I'm a fan of the early 80's Classic Series of Buck knives. Per discussion with Matt Smit and Jeff Hubbard, approximately 25 of these "Frankenstein" knives were built last year using some 40+ year old 111 Classic left side handles mated to the 110 Slim Pro blades and right side scales and clips. I don't know or care if they will ever be considered a rare collectible, but I do like them a lot.

Good info. Thanks.

I have a new 484 I put in my pocket today. The wife was getting a splinter out from my finger nail and the 112 I have been using didn't have a sharp tip like the 484 did. I like it!

But the next store down the highway may have the thumbstud version on the shelf. Canadian Tire seems to stay away from thumbstuds, at least in my neck of the woods. Could be old stock though and maybe the USA versions will eventually show up on the shelves.
even better. got both versions available. pick one ya like best or like we do here one of each just cause.....

I also think its way cool y'all up there have a tire store, I assume by the name of it, thats sells least some quality cutting tools too......

edit..saw online its a box store sells lots of stuff....I was thinking wrong.....I was picturing a tire shop with some knives by the counter.....

That's why you'll often hear me refer to it as the "more than just tires" store.

I'm still hoping to make it into the big city soon and pick up the last 3 stud-less Slim Selects here in the province.
