What Buck are you carrying today?

Still the standard 110 from 2021. It has the best factory edge grind I've ever owned. I've only used a gray Lansky ceramic rod to keep it going so far. It's the same knife that is so pointy you almost can't touch the tip without seeing blood. Wait, that didn't sound so good . . .

The thicker 750 paracord lanyard is working well.

I almost decided to take the new BCCI stone 112 out..but it's so pristine and scratch free I just couldn't do it. I have 3 112's in the car right now so it will be one of them. I DID win a NIB Buck on Ebay yesterday..something I have never held in hand before. A 309!! That will absolutely go in my pocket when it get home. I have the club 301 in BG42 I use occasionally but I seen it way below $20.00 and could not resist.

I decided to put an old friend in my pocket yesterday . Parents bought it for me in 93 or 94 for my birthday. I can’t remember for sure.

It’s another Buck that when it first came out I didn’t care for because it didn’t look like a Buck. I now think it’s one of the classiest Bucks made.😁

how ya like that new blade shape, Sir?
It is...interesting. I have found it to be very useful for cutting tasks and has a nice aesthetic but something makes me like the original more. Still, it is good enough I plan on keeping it and using it when I can. I did order the new micarta Sprint original too.

Today, tomorrow, and this coming Wednesday, Buck 112 Slim. OH

I kind of cheated today. I took my 4 older Bucks to the office today just to get an updated picture. I do have another old 301 but I didn’t get it out of the display case. These 4 live in my knife drawer and occasionally find their way in my pocket.

I’m not sure why but the 307 I like to slip into my pocket at the end of summer and beginning of fall.

The 301 I inherited in the early 80’s.
