Just so you know Pat you made me grab one from the BCCI got it a couple days ago, now i have the 112 issue as I only had one until this one.
Happy I could help, I’m glad you like it! It’s still my favorite Buck knife.Just so you know Pat you made me grab one from the BCCI got it a couple days ago, now i have the 112 issue as I only had one until this one.
love the Koa wood --- Pete
With respect to the similar threads in other areas of the forum, let's see what you are actually carrying and using today.
For me, it's my trusty little 55.

They are great work knives! I usually like the thickness & heft of my regular 112s for my daily cutting chores, but there are times when a slim, lightweight, one-hand opening knife, is a better tool for the job at hand. That's when the 112 Slim comes out.View attachment 2671658
This is a nice work knife, and it's orange which is a bonus.... But, I think I'll stick with the regular 112 unless I magically find a ranger sport.
Apparently the Ranger sports were quite popular cause there isn't one for sale anywhere! Lol.
Not sure who you were asking, but I'll throw my 2c in. I don't own a 112 slim select, but here is a photo for size comparison. Top is a 110, middle is a 112, bottom is a 55.How have liked the 55? I assume smaller than a 112 slim select, still handy? Thanks.
