The very first knife I ever bought was a 309. I was 14 and bought it with my paper route money. New in box for $18.00 at the local (long gone) archery store. Carried it for a lot of years and still have it today!!I’m not much on small knives except for the 309. There’s something about them.

Yeah, these are pretty nice, but I never bought a knife that I didn't intend to use. As far as "dress up" goes; if I have to tuck my shirt tail in to go somewhere, then I don't belong there in the first place, and I ain't going.
They sure had some great Buck editions go through their doors!
I prefer the traditional steels, but love that blade profile and long pull!
