What buck knife do you want for Christmas?

I WANT a Damascus 184 buckmaster with copper trimmings and crosscut ivory handle----:D

103 with 5160 carbon steel blade, or a standard 103.
Of course if Santer Clause were to bring me a 124 instead, I would not complain. :)

I've been a bad boy, I have bought way to many Buck knives this year:(;). Oh well, I'd still like a new Joe Houser 916 custom with Buffalo handles and green Malachite spacers. I'll be good next year I promise.

JB

I want a 119 with left handed leather sheath, and am buying one from a forum member here shortly.
Other people's gifts come first so my personal gift is on the back burner for a couple weeks.

We have the same taste. Do not like the small handle on the 916 but when Joe put the Buffalo and Malachite together to bulk it up I had to have one.

I can relate...My wife has no sense of humor concerning more knives!o_O

I really don't know what I want. But I know what I'm giving. I went shopping today because 2 of my nephews wanted Buck knives for Christmas. While out two of my kids 15 yo son and 18 yo daughter seen a couple they liked. So here is what has been bought and what still needs to be bought.

18yo nephew - 110. He is a hunter and every American guy needs at least one 110.
18 yo daughter- Blue Buck Ascend. I've never seen this knife before but must admit it looks like a decent knife for the price. She also liked the Mesa a lot. So I told her to walk away and I'd pick one. :) She's getting both.

15 yo son- Blue buck Ascend- He is the one that first pointed it out as we were looking.

10 yo daughter- Bought BP cherry 105 Monday.
11 yo nephew- thinking of Maxlite small camo. He wanted a Buck fix blade for deer.

To be honest the Ascend and Mesa I don't remember seeing before. Our Big Box store doesn't carry either. I just happened to be about an 1 1/2 away at a store that carried them. Both look like a lot of knife for the money.

Everyone seems to be wanting new models or variations, but I'll settle for an older one. If anyone wants to give me a 110 1st version 2nd variation in excellent condition, I"ll take it. Some of you who keep buying the new knives must need to make space for them.

Bert

I with you Bert, I would like another variation of the Buck 118 that I don't own - got my eye peeled! OH

The more I think about it maybe the C&C 5160 or something from the AG line. I love the AG line. I have some gift cards so I might just have to buy myself something out of the AG line. :)

I’d like for them to open up the custom shop for the 55 for Christmas.

Both of these! And what I truly love is finding an abused model (cheap) that I do not own in a flea market or pawn shop and having it reconditioned. I cannot see how Buck makes much money on their spa service but I get a sense of satisfaction out of obtaining one this way.

I would like a custom 119 with D2 steel, green micarta scales and a throw back blade guard.
(I know, I have weird taste!)

My birthday knife was the 110 Titan and I couldn't be more pleased. For a Christmas knife I'm waiting to see what USA made Bullet Knife Buck
unveils at the Shot Show. Hoping for a large Trapper.
Hawkeye, thanks for starting this. Have a Great one. DM

Just over 100 Bucks for the standard Bullet.
