What BUCK knife is this? (PIC heavy)

its got a green plastic handle. says BUCKLITE on the back end
it also says 426+ on the tang

all i know is that it makes a great hunting knife. thats all ive used it for. the "dirty work" end of hunting:cool:
EDIT- what is the + year code?

Bucklite folding hunter, model 426. The + is a year code I don't remember. The Bucklites were zytel handled versions of 110 and 112 styled folding hunters. They were around mid 80's, early 90's.

i think youre right! ive never seen them before, and even now when i looked, i didnt see one with a green handle. mine must be old. i didnt buy it. it was a gift. i even got it used. i didnt put those scratches in the handle. i figured buck was a good brand that could take a beating while hunting, plus i aint got anything to lose, so i use it

I have 1 too. Cool knife, but the steel they used in this knife really stinks. It is not 420HC, it is something else. Loses the sharp edge very quickly. They didn't use it for that long.
 
This is so weird. I was given one of these when I was a kid and it has been sitting in a drawer for over a decade. I just pulled it out today and was looking at the model number. It's been one of those days...
