What Buck resides in your car / truck?

I never thought to put a knife roll in the truck. I have a few, and really don't use them.

Of course now the Bucklite Max is temporarily out of stock..... I'll get one.

So I got a Camillus kukri my hunting buddy gave me, a flat grind 119 in a fold over sheath, my old S&W rubber handled brass guard fixed blade hunting knife I bought when I was young ( that knife can clean a deer all by itself, I just show up) and an old Colonial Ranger stockman style knife.... I like old Colonial knives.

I know there's a Vantage and a 715 already in there.
Not to mention what I carry.

That takes care of the truck......

Thanks guys.

Beater 110 and a multitool (don't remember the brand) in the console of mine, with a Mora fixed blade in the "overnight" bag in the trunk. Wife has an orange Bantam in the console of hers. Various SAKs in each vehicle as well. Plus whatever EDC we have on... guess we're covered... not much use for a machete in the desert so that stays on the tool bench.

Although I usually carry at least two knives and sometimes a Leatherman wave on me I still have some extra 110LT I keep in my vehicles. A backup is so nice when things don’t go as expected and if someone else needs one it’s there. They didn’t cost much, I think they were $20.
I’ve been in situations where a stashed knife made a big difference and saved the day and a few times I didn’t have a backup and wishing I had one. Better to have one and not need it than to need one and not have it.

Mine is an old 2 dot frame 110 with a newish reblade that I had Buck do a few years ago. May have cut some string a time or two but thats it. Keep it in the console.

I have a 105 and a 307 in mine. Mainly for back up. I usually carry several and if going into the field have several others packed away in various packs/bags.

I get teased a lot..."what's the over and under for the number of Buck knives pjsjr's bringing today...more than two, less than a hundred!" Or..."hey, who's got a knife...pjsjr you got a knife?", and then a chorus, "...of course he does", everybody laughs.

I usually have a 301 in my right front pocket with some kind of 112 on my belt. Our state has a 3.5 inch rule if your knife is concealed under a shirt or coat. That goes for a glovebox or door pocket also.😖

What car/truck? I been car free since 1995 or 1996. Gas, registraton, insurance ... all cost too much, IMHO.
Around town all I need is a bicycle or adult tricycle, anyway.
I do keep a Buck 371 with black n blue (not a bruise) G10 covers in my bicycle trunkbag.

Buck had both the 684 and the 685 Bucklites in stock.
I never really paid much attention to these.
What is nice about them is their simplicity. Rubber handles, stainless blades, and nylon sheaths, makes them an inexpensive and practical choice to ride around in the door of a vehicle.
They don't rattle around, and are an ample enough knife if needed.

And I like 'em. They are impressive knives at this price point.
It's nice to buy something today that's still American made, inexpensive, and capable. There's really no compromises if practical is the objective.

And I see that C&C has the 685 on sale, so I'm thinking of grabbing a few more. I can think of lots of uses for these.

Thanks.View attachment 1620341View attachment 1620346

They are great to have around if you are deer hunting. Might be my favorite ever for field dressing.

I have a couple of the large ones. reminds me blade shape wise of the vanguard. I use for yard working and various tasks. cheap enough to use hard and not worry. sheath isn't real comfortable on the belt, but for the price point whos complaining. now that ya mention it GPyro might toss one in the truck.

@Greatful, how does that post offend you? You quote my post, then say nothing.

Congrats. Your harrassment has earned you a spot on my ignore list.
Since I seem to be so offensive to you, why don't you add me to your ignore list?

Oh, no need to reply, as I'll never see it, as you are being ignored now.

EDIT
I see the mods deleted your post.

Those 684/685 look ideal and a great price point for vehicle storage. I usually go with smaller folders or multi-tools (especially for wife & son's rigs) but will certainly look at both of these as options for my truck.
