What Budget (under $50) EDC Are You Carrying Today?

Just my Opinel, for under $50.

I have two others on me, but they are more than that.

I ended up with three knives on me this AM.

Steel Warrior trapper.

Kershaw Zing (US model)

Kershaw Echelon (early model)

IIRC, the Zing and the Echelon cost me $49 each, plus shipping. I consider them 50 dollar knives.

The SW was a gift. Amazing knife when you consider that it retails for about ten clams.

got the Kershaw in my pocket today. cost me $49 bucks 7 years ago and been carrying it on and off ever since.

Ok, must admit that my pockets are lined with slightly non-budget blades, a ZT 0562CF and Spyder PM2. But, in front of me on my office desk I have these scattered around. They seem to get the bulk of my "office-y" tasks. Not only are these under $50, buy they are all well under $20.

I frequently carry a Leek, as well, but I'm not sure if it counts as <$50. I bought mine for $25 in the States, but over here the plain 1660 is €60 (~$70, and backordered) and it quickly skyrockets to beyond €100 (~$115) for other versions.

oh wow, I got mine at a local Walmart when I was on my way out fishing one day. needed a knife and liked the size to weight ratio. one of my favorite inexpensive finds, and one of the first few that got me really interested in knives.

All of my daily carry knives are under $50! Today it was my Kershaw Scrambler. This week it's been, in no particular order;

Kershaw Volt SS
Kershaw Chill
Ontario RAT 1
Ontario Utilitac II
SAK Cadet

First other Gerber Order I have seen in the wild. Severely underrated knife in my opinion for the price. Nice one!

I agree as to it being one of those great knives that everyone is missing out on. I did a 30 day carry challenge with this knife. 30 days was 6 days ago and it is still in my pocket.

Kershaw swerve today. It's a little heavy and a bit of a pocket hog, But I've got big pockets. And I just like it. :D

Yeah, I'm not sure what it is with Leeks. Most folders are expensive here, due to import fees and 21% VAT, but that one in particular is just insane.

The Boker Trance is one of my favorites for this role. The locking version is for some reason slightly cheaper here than the slipjoint. Despite this, both will open just as fast despite the half-stop on the 42 model.
