What bushcraft knife

Start with a mora companion mg. Use it for a while and figure out what you like and don't like about it. Everyone uses knives a little differently so my perfect knife probably won't be your perfect knife. Case in point, the esee 3 did not work for me at all. Good knife but terrible for the way I use knives.

That Tops BOB doesn't look like a bad choice. I like my Buck Punk best for bushcraft . Even though it's on the small side. But still works great and don't have to lug aroung a 7 to 9 in big, heavy blade. Got it for $80 new.

I suggest a mora robust. Use it, sharpen it, use it some more. For $15 you will find out what you like about it and what you don't and will be much better equipped to decide where to spend the rest of the money AND you will still have a very handy knife.

Condor makes great products, I would get the kephart knife, I think its around 40 bucks, with a really nice leather sheath. Also Ontario just came out with a new bushcraft blade around 75 bucks that looks really nice with a nylon sheath. Made in America, 5160 steel.

IMO for the money nothing can top a HEST Original fixed blade. They can be found for $100 or less.

DPX HEST fixed would be another good choice. Even the folder HEST is great for bushcraft.

So what is lacking in the Moras? Are there specific issues you're trying to fix? Blade length, handle comfort, edge retention, sheath, etc? Or are you just wanting to spend money on something new? There's no problem with wanting something new, but you've got a couple knives already, and when you ask for suggestions it might be helpful to let people know what you're looking for that's different from what you've got now.

Bark river bravo 1.5 3v

Not even close to the $100 stated budget, but a good choice. I like my A2 Bravo I & II.

I would think something in the BK line would work great. Also, the BOB gets great reviews. Your first thought might be your best one!
