What bushcraft piece of gear do you keep falling in love with?

Marmot Helium sleeping bag. Very warm, fits 6 ft., 225 lbs., weighs 1 lb 13 oz.

Western Mountaineering Flight Jacket. Better loft than most down jackets that weigh twice as much. Goes 12 oz. total in XL size. Sheds light drizzle and snow for hours.

And I'll second the Lee Reeves double bit hatchet.

For me, any Mora, bucksaws or folding saw.

Too me saws are the most under appreciated tool in the woods. They are not glamorous like axes or knives, but they are prolific at making life easy in the woods.

I know a lot of people here like Mora's also, but for under $15 can we appreciate them enough. They are the best buy for the money for what you get. They just work.

1-What bushcraft piece of gear
Man, hard to say. I guess my favorite (non-knife) gear is actually a kit of sorts, and that would be the GI canteen/cup/stove kit. Caveman simple, and yet it works so well. I generally carry two. One gets used to make tea, the other to cook up a stew of sorts.

2-bushcraft knife do you keep falling in love with the more you use them?
Well, it's not my best, or even the one I really like the most, but since it rides on my CAK rig, it's the one I use the most.

For me it is my Blind Horse Bushcrafter. The more I use it, the the more I like it. My RC4 is a very close second. I like both O1 & 1095 very much!!

Three pieces stand out:

Kifaru Tailgunner 1-a fantastic lumbar/shoulder pack for day hikes
NWA Scout (4" blade)-an unbelievable all-around hunting/hiking knife
Benchmade Mini-Grip-I love this folder and carry it everyday

Vic Forester, and my trusty 10 year old Coleman dual fuel single burner stove.

I love my camp chopper!

It chops good!

You can see it grinning after doing the business:

It likes to baton as well:

The spine is stronger than my baton though, chewed it good(but still plenty of wood left):

Marmot Helium sleeping bag. Very warm, fits 6 ft., 225 lbs., weighs 1 lb 13 oz.

I got one of these sleeping bags too and am liking it much.

Number two is Klean Kanteens. The plastic bottles of the past are toast.

Number three is a SAK compact knife. Has all I need and nothing I don't need.

Knife- Fallknven S1, and Case Trapper in CV
Camping gear- Ugly Stik Med. Action spooled with 10lb. mono. with cheap Shimano reel.. that is if fishing rods count as camping gear...
