What can I reasonably expect to pay

I am hoping to track down a Large Regular Sebenza (BG42 or S30V) in pretty much any condition but was curious what I would expect to have to pay?

I tried looking through old posts on the For Sale section but a lot of those have the price edited out. Just curious if anyone would mind sharing what they had paid/traded to get one recently so I can get an idea.

I think it would not be unusual for you to see anywhere between $290-$350 for a plain jane large sebenza. The price will vary depending on the condition obviously. There was one that just went for around the $290 mark but I believe that was because there was some after market jimping added to the top of the handle scales.

I think the BG-42 models are a little more expensive as they are sought after by CRK collectors.

Your best bet for a deal would be a user S30V.

Toyz is on the mark here. I did sell that altered one for $290, but the going rate does seem to be more in the $300-375 range now that they are $410 new.
Definitely the steel will make a difference in damascus and BG42 commanding the highest price.

Thanks! I saw the one at $290 but figured it was due to the marks.

I will keep an eye out for a user S30V. I got a fairly decent deal recently on a Small Regular and it's off at the spa now, so maybe I can repeat that.
