What can you tell me about my $100 Sebenza?

This sets the bar for *user* title. Anyone else have a*better* pic of their user sebenza :P

By the way, you were scammed and i'd be happy to take it of your hands for double your purchase price :p

great find, i personally like the look, has a nice artistic touch, definitely unique.

Ok. I'll be another one to say wow! I'm curious if that is factory or not. Very nice graphic regardless!

normal small sebenza on top for comparison.

What a find....

Nothing else I can think of to say- I need to poke around in the places you shop :D

That blade reminds me of the "Oversharpended Sebenza" thread. I nearly fell out of my chair the first time I saw it. Seriously I nearly died laughing, look: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/865470-Oversharpened-Sebenza

I have no idea how the previous owner got the blade in its current condition. I cannot even begin to imagine..... But hey, at least it's sharp!

As for the graphic being non-factory... The guy I bought it from said it is a unique graphic, but mentioned no other details. Also, the purple anodizing almost looks like it has been worn off on those wide grooves. I think it may have been solid purple in the grooves at some point. Is it ven possible for the purple coloration to wear off of titanium?

Congrats on that amazing deal. but unfortunately I am quite certain CRK doesn't sell new Regular blades anymore, only the 21/classic style can be bought. they will very occasionally pop up on the forums though so keep an eye out.

Fantastic knife though, so be proud.

Oh man, that stinks! If it ends up being difficult or impossible to find a new blade, then oh well I guess it is what it is.

When I first saw the thread I thought OMG this guy has gone and spent $100-00 on a Chinese knock off and is about to get some bad news...............Man was I wrong!

What a great find at a unbelievable price!

I wish you well to use it........:)

Probably not the same blade, but picture does prove there is more than one Sebenza owner that takes sharpening to the extreme.

Missed it by this much ---> <---

Seriously, great buy. I'm glad it went to someone new seeking the CRK experience. Welcome!

Again, it's very cool, and I'm totally partial to purple.....so should you ever want to sell it and make some tidy profit, look me up :D

CRK does not sell the regular Sebenza, but they still have regular blades. That is what they use on their Annual limited edition, so I believe they would replace that with a regular blade.

I love the graphics on that one.

Given the amount of blade lost to sharpening I would say the price is about right.

I would check with CRK to see if they will put a new regular blade on (since they still make the annuals they should have blades to do this). If you do get a new blade then for the total cost it will have set you back you still would have a great bargain and a knife that is ready for many years in use.

Wow....two things.

1. $100 is unheard of
2. I think that knife has seen some excessive sharpening or unneeded sharpening if it is from 07 and that much metal has been removed.

With that being said you got one hell of a deal, I'm sure that same blade would have fetched a lot more on this forum!

from Jessie at CRK:

"We only replace the older regular blades if for some reason there was a
warranty related issue. We just don't have the inventory for those to
replace all of them. Sorry about that!"

I don't think normal use falls under the warranty.
