What can you tell me about my A2 Steel Heart?

I may be a bit high, but your additional pics confirmed my suspicions about the beakless Bird's Beak (BB) profile. I've never seen one like it. Very:cool:

Your right on the button there bro, I've never seen one like that either! The coating is intact at that area on the pommel so its a factory job, very cool piece indeed. :)

I do hear a distant rumbling coming from up north, I think Randucci's SHSH senses are going off the chart. ;)

I've also never seen anything CLOSE to that!

Even a few years ago when SHSH's were popping up all over the place to finance ERGOS.

That's a rarey for sure.

Looks like a One-of piece. Very desirable. I think I'd get another user because I'd hate to rough that one up.

I think I've decided that I need to find a beater Steel Heart. This one has been handled, and the edge touched up on a ceramic rod - other than that it's never done anything rougher than shave off a patch of arm hair. I'm going to take very good care of it from now on so it doesn't get any more handling marks. ;)

I bought it based on their old ad in Soldier of Fortune. Remember the one with the skeleton clutching his Steel Heart?

Great knife you got there, it does look like it started out as a BBSHSH and like stated above, I would have thought someone would have ground off the end if it weren't for the factory paint. Good thing you kept it all this time!

Any idea why the factory would have sent it out without the "head" (if that's the correct term?)?

Who knows?

The fact is, to a collector, you could probably get an INFI SHSH (for a user), + cash your way so they could stick that sucker in a safe.

I don't collect anymore, but they are really fun to use.

Or, use what ya got. It might drop the price by $50 or $75, but you could still have fun, and I don't mean less than the purchase price, but what someone is willing to pay now.

Just about all my users are straight handles.

A POX on locking them up in a safe!
