What can you tell me about this Spyderco Executive

I bought a Spyderco Executive many years ago & finally extracted it from my gun safe along with a number of other Spyderco knives. This knife has been customized with scales of jet & mother-of-pearl in the spyder web design with the Spyderco logo. Blade has the spyderedge. The name "Santa Fe StoneWorks" and the number 093 is etched on the clip side. As I say, it's been sitting in my gun safe for I don't know how long, but looks brand new & never used.
Can anyone tell me anything about this knife & its' potential value?

SFSW and Spyderco go back many years. They are an authorized "customizer" of Spydies. Basically that means Spyderco sells them the knives directly and they modify them with Spyderco's blessing. This doesn't affect the warranty and in fact actually adds SFSW's awesome warranty to the mix. They stand behind their stonework one hundred percent. I own a serrated Delica and haven't had any cause to "test" their warranty however. It is a tough knife and yes, it does get carried and used. I purchased it used and don't have the box or papers, plus it had a few scratches on the non-stone side when I got it. So there's no need to keep it mint.

As for dollar value, you can check SFSW's street prices at newgraham.com as they are an authorized SFSW dealer. However, since the Exec has been disco'd for some time you won't find any current info. I would imagine the fact that it's no longer manufactured would only add to the value. Plus, that 093 is a collector's club number. Strange location for the number however. Maybe Spyderco altered the location of the CC number for a special run of SFSW modified collector pieces. That would be an interesting twist which would also add to the potential value.

SFSW is a great way to get a "pimped" Spydie without the wait and the hassle. :)
