What can your BK2 do?

The BK2 is the staple of the whole line. For now anyway. The BK4 or 16 might take that place soon. Anyway. Let's show the BK2 some love! Tonight I spent about an hour outside taking down an old tree/bush. After an hour of chopping, I hate the pommel. BUT since it's not a chopper, I can let that pass. I am glad the pommel is there for other more suited uses.

What I did learn is, if I had to only have one knife in the woods for a long time, I would feel comfortable with the BK2. It's not made to be a chopper, but it'll do in a pinch.

I am really happy with my BK2. It's a great allarounder that can really do just about anything. After chopping about 20 small limbs and a few medium ones, it still cuts paper pretty good. The biggest trunk in the pic isn't huge, but a good size for solid shelter building and the like.

I love my BK-2. I hardly ever chop with it unless the diameter is small. I do like cross cut batoning though.

Mine destroyed a SMKW novelty knife today.

This is the largest thing that I've ever attacked with my BK2. No idea what kind of wood this is, but it was twisted, gnarled and all sorts of knotty. Its almost all heartwood, and took a dang long time to get through.

Actually batoned it from the side, using the pommel extension.

Saved the War Sword from a crazy knot here.

Back when it was newer.

I don't reckon there aint too much that the Beast can't do!

my bk2 can do everything it is now learning to drive so when i have had a few to many it will get me home safe LOL
