The BK2 is the staple of the whole line. For now anyway. The BK4 or 16 might take that place soon. Anyway. Let's show the BK2 some love! Tonight I spent about an hour outside taking down an old tree/bush. After an hour of chopping, I hate the pommel. BUT since it's not a chopper, I can let that pass.
I am glad the pommel is there for other more suited uses.
What I did learn is, if I had to only have one knife in the woods for a long time, I would feel comfortable with the BK2. It's not made to be a chopper, but it'll do in a pinch.
I am really happy with my BK2. It's a great allarounder that can really do just about anything. After chopping about 20 small limbs and a few medium ones, it still cuts paper pretty good. The biggest trunk in the pic isn't huge, but a good size for solid shelter building and the like.
Post up your BK2 victories!!!!!!!!
