I agree it is down to the Nitrogen aspect of Infi....in particular....
"Behavior of Nitrogen in Steel
While steel is liquid the nitrogen present exists in the solution. However, solidification of steel may result in three nitrogen-related phenomena: formation of blowholes;"
The unique addition of Nitrogen in Infi would also explain it not being encountered in other steels ( SR77 and SR101 ) within the Bussekin Companies who share the heat treatment process or indeed in none Bussekin companies using other steels and other heat treatments.
