What color are the handles on the CRKT Crawford/Kasper Pro?

Howdy,

CRKT Crawford/Kasper Profession folder...

Alot of the dealer sites I've seen show the alum handles as an almost white, which (IMHO) looks lame, but the CRKT site and Catalog show them as more of a black or gray.

I know this sounds kinda silly, but I'd consider the knife ALOT more seriously if they were black instead of white, and I wanted to ask those of you who own them or if you've seen them what color they REALLY are...

so what color are they? (P.S. Pics invited, I always love to see high-quality pics of knives I'm considering)

The only one I've seen looked a whitish-silver.

The preproduction versions I saw in late January were the new color. They are the same color as the M16 aluminum models. You are correct when you say the older version looked terrible. The new color really makes the knife look good.

I think the old handle color is unique. I use the knife around the house for utility work. The gray color is fine but there's plenty of knives out there with black/gray handles (I have about 30 of them)so I chose something a little different.

Mine has a charcoal grey colored handle.It's finish is matte,not shiney/slippery as I've read in other posts.tom.
