I know it must sound ridiculous, but I've been scratching my head for days now trying to figure out what color paracord lanyard I should put on my endura wave. For the life of me, I have been unable to figure out what shade of paracord would compliment the weird, navy blue-gray handle color of this knife. Before I send a letter into GQ, does anyone here have any ideas/ sugestions? What would look good?

Thanks everyone!
Mark

I recommend plain old black or white paracord.

Kind of boring, but at least they both match with the Endura. :D

I think military Green/Black paracord look pretty good with my Blue/Grey handled Sebie. You might consider it!

I recommend going with nothing. I haven't yet found a knife I preferred with a lanyard. Whenever I attach a lanyard to a knife, I invariably remove it, and like the knife better without it. For me, lanyards just get in the way- they get caught up on things, make changing grips more complicated etc. I've tried lanyards many times, but they've never clicked with me for some reason.

Aesthetically speaking (as a professional artist), to go with the navy blue/grey of the waved Endura, I would go with a black and yellow or grey and yellow combo. Busse makes some very nice lanyards in exactly this color combo, with neat reflective threads woven into the paracord. I have a couple and they're nice- just not for me on knives. I'm using one as a keychain currently and love it. Check the company store if you're interested.

Do you have the option of doing multiple colors and choosing after the fact?

Blue&black, Dark Blue & Dark Red, Blue&Yellow

blue and white would definatly have a cool kick to it but i also perfer a lanyard less knife

I agree 100%. This almost perfectly matches my own experience with lanyards. I've even had them interfere with opening a folding knife. I can see the usefulness of having a lanyard or fob on a knife, but it just doesn't work for me, much as I'd like it to.

For a waved knife a 1 inch keyring really speeds up deployment. Little finger goes through the ring, thumb in the pocket, pull and wave the knife and you will have a sure grip once out. The waved Emerson Karambit is a good example of this technique.

The keyring also serves as a safety preventing opening when it lies over the opening.

If you want add a lanyard to the keyring.

Married? ... Ask your wife which color looks best with the knife.:p

I'm sorry - it was just so easy.
