What colors would you like to see?

Well, the FFG Delicas and Enduras have been out for a bit now and folks have their opinions on the colored FRNs. White FRN and a special green FRN for USN were also offered before. Foliage green and British Racing Green are still on the catalog.

What colors would you like to see Spyderco offer or retain?

For me, I like the gray as it is. I also dig the Foliage and BR Greens.

I would like to see them offer a blue closer to the shade of denim, and a brown closer to either khaki or coyote.

Would be curious to find out what the FRN handles would look like in the following colors:

  1. Charcoal/Gunmetal
  2. Safety Orange
  3. Olive Drab

With some colors, a color matched pocket clip would be great, but I'm sure that wouldn't do wonders for retail pricing.

Oh yeah, I have no issues with basic black FRN.:)

A navy blue would be nice. Combine it with a wire clip and it would disappear when wearing jeans.

I'm a big fan of the bright colors. The brighter and goofier the color, the less threatening the knife seems (to my eye anyway). If I could choose any color to have on a Delica or Endura, I'd like a screaming flourescent green. Another color that would be great would be a nice, bland khaki that would blend into khaki pants. The brown that was used on the "Iraqi Freedom" Native would be great.

Transparent would be super cool!

At this point in my knife collecting I would love anything but BLACK. 85% of my pocket knives are black. Nothing wrong with black but for knife knuts its nice to see other colors.

I'd like to see more of the "denim blue" blue FRN that was used on the sprint D4 ZDP.

My thoughts exactly! I would love a darker gray as well as a desert sand tan. I think blue jean blue with an inconspicuous pocket clip would be great too. While we are at it, why not G10?

I'd like a bright teal color because I can't decide between the cobalt blue and seafoam green FFG Delicas & Enduras.

Personally, I would like to see more knives offered in G10. It would be really cool to see a Stretch with the new XHP steel with a nice colored G10. I like the pattern that is developing with the Manix 2, black, blue, fg, now an all black one.

Now you're talkin my kinda language! I would love the same color as the ZDP Stretch with a silver wire clip.

Because G10 requires liners (well not technically but I doubt you will see it) and has to be machined and sanded. The reason the delica and endura are so cheap, thin, and light weight is because they are injection molded FRN. Once they are made they just pop them out and can be made into a knife without lots of additional work. They did make some G10 variants and they were most costly, heavy, and thicker. You can probably still track one down if you want it that bad.

I wouldn't mind a lustrous OD green. The foliage green is nice, but almost too light. My Para D2 looks like something that could have been issued to me in the Corps.

The insanely popular Demko knife is solid G10, almost indestructible. Something similar would be a nice choice though. ;)
