I would like to see every knife at least offered in black. Some of the knives with G10 are only made in green, that's why I won't buy them.
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is available! Price is $250 ea (shipped within CONUS).

Color? Whatever,I'm just worried there not going to keep the full flat grinds around
for very long. :/
When i sore your headline I thought of gunmetal its a brilliant colour.
Why do you say that? Many knives are being produced with FFG exclusively. Look at the Manix for example: the S90V, blue S30V, and fg XHP - all FFG.
This is something that a lot of customers are asking for, and Spyderco is definitely a company that is customer friendly (moreso than many others).

The insanely popular Demko knife is solid G10, almost indestructible. Something similar would be a nice choice though.![]()
Would be curious to find out what the FRN handles would look like in the following colors:
- Charcoal/Gunmetal
- Safety Orange
- Olive Drab
How about dressing up some of these with wood inlays? The Millie, Endura and such, would be beautiful with a wood inlay instead of the various synthetic scales.
The S90V, S30V, and XHP were all sprint runs and FFG, yet the normal model is hollow grind so I don't see how that is exclusively FFG?
The colored versions are a limited run. Yes they might make more if they sell well but I haven't read anything that states this is definitely the future of the Delica and Endura. If they don't sell great then they could just revert back to the standard hollow ground versions they have been making for years.
Which knife is that? The American Lawman? Are you talking about the Cold Steel version? Because that started out as having liners and just went liner less this year. As I mentioned it can be done, but I doubt you will see it in a Spyderco if past knife construction is considered. I would also think the Triad lock would be substantially stronger if the stop pin was mounted in steel liners instead of only G10 which can be deformed quite a bit easier than steel. Regardless, G10 without liners would still require quite a bit more work than a quickly made injection molded piece of FRN and would change the 'spirit' of the original design.
