what country do you come from? non-american hogs, rats and dogs?

It's the damn import taxes! To pay up to 100 Euros (140 USD!!) to have a Sebenza or a SAR4 imported is quite insane and a veiled form of protectionism if you ask me..

It's the import duties you gotta worry about!

The import taxes ?? But that's only like 12% on everything that costs more than 150 euro ($ 210 or so, incl S & H). The 'BTW' (VAT in English) is what's the real killer I think: 19% on top of everything else (above 22 euro, incl. knife, shipping, other taxes). But hey, that one is on everything overhere, so that cannot be a surprise.

:p :D

:barf:

Thanks,

Yeah, I meant all taxes combined... They even charge VAT on the shipping charges!

I was born in Brazil. I have been working for a multinational company in the US for the last 7 years, but I will be returning to my country soon.

born in Australia, currently living in Switzerland, but maybe returning to Australia sometime

man, I'm jealous of all you multinational workers. I've been trying to get my butt to latin america for a few years...

US here, but did live in South America for awhile!

Scotland here, I know i'm not the only Scot either. I am lucky enough to spend about a month in the US most years though

Born in Iceland, lived in various Countries (Spain, England, Germany, etc.), mostly raised in the USA (Ohio, Cali, the Kentucky lands).
Been around a little ;)

Nothing fancy about working for a multinational company with lots of travelling. I mean, I've been to 25 or so different countries during the last 3 years, but I've only seen their airports, hotels, hotel restaurants, office buildings and their meeting rooms. Yeah, met a lot of nice people, but hardly drank a glass of beer with most of them.

Bottom of the Dark Continent......Cape Town, South Africa:)
